- Eye protection devices must be carefully selected, fitted and used
- The employer must insist that employees study this safety information and practice safety
- Users must have available adequate lifting facilities capable of lifting within safe load limits
- Every floor opening resulting from the machine tool installed in pits or below floor level should be covered with a material of proper strength
- When machines are installed above floor level and a platform is built around the machine tool, the platform must be constructed of materials of proper strength
- Management personnel have the responsibility to alert operating personnel of any unsafe practice they may observe
